Ever since its foundation in 1903, RUSTIN has remained a family company committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of employees. Having long placed an emphasis on the social aspect, we have introduced a number of innovative initiatives, including an internal code of ethics, frequent and tailored training programmes, a 4-day working week and gender equality, anticipating current CSR regulations.
Respect for the environment
Our company is closely linked to one particular area, the Loir Valley. The company owes its foundation and its development to the energy given to it by the river Loir. Aware of the importance of natural resources and the impact we have on the natural world, we have always sought to take environmental considerations into account, whether it’s reducing our consumption of water and energy, recycling waste or replacing chemical products with non-toxic products.

Each year, ECOVADIS assesses the CSR programmes of hundreds of companies worldwide. In 2020, Ecovadis awarded Rustin a silver medal, and we are continuing our efforts when it comes to our environmental, social and ethical responsibilities.
